It’s critical to ensure that our 900 students at Para Los Niños’ seven Early Education centers, Elementary School, and Middle School have what they need to experience stability inside and outside of the classroom. That’s why, in addition to excellent education, we provide on-site school social workers, a robust expanded learning program, and concrete supports for families. This continuum of care, supported by advocates like you, provides stability for our families which results in educational success for their children.
You can help keep this legacy of care going by: Donating to our Back-to-School Fund, Purchasing from our School Supplies Wishlist, and Volunteering for Family Days!
During our 45th Anniversary year, we are proud to share powerful stories about how Para Los Niños integrates critical programming, concrete resources, and targeted advocacy to change the lives of thousands of children, youth, and their families – all thanks to this amazing community of supporters. This is OUR story, nuestra historia: yours, mine, and every person’s impacted by our work together.
We create spaces that connect children, youth, and families to education and resources to lead and succeed, and are active to build trust and give voice to our diverse perspectives, so all can reach their full potential.
“Since day one, Para Los Niños has welcomed me with open arms and provided me with guidance and a support system to fall back on. They have become a staple in ensuring I strive academically and professionally. Guiding me to countless opportunities that allow me to financially support myself and my family. Their support eased my college application process and assured me that if I took all the necessary steps I could be the first in my family to attend a university. Now as a first-generation college student, and Para Los Niños employee, PLN has become family and I am so grateful.”
– Alma Canales, Resident Teacher at PLN Charter Elementary School, Youth Workforce Services Alumna
I love my job. Para Los Niños has allowed me to support families with translation, encourage them towards resources and solutions, and walk alongside them to remind them that they are not alone.”
– Grace Sanchez, Family & Community Engagement Coordinator
“Judy and I have been honored to work with Para Los Niños for over 25 years. Thank you for the chance to help.”
– Don Katz, Longtime Para Los Niños Supporter
“I am very grateful to Para Los Niños because they have been an invaluable support with my children’s education.”
