A Message From The Principal

Dear CES Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you are new to our school or returning for another year, we are so grateful to have you as part of our Para Los Niños Charter Elementary School community. We are ever stronger when we walk together, students, families, and staff, committed to your child’s growth, joy, and success.

At Para Los Niños, we believe in the brilliance of every child and are dedicated to nurturing their academic achievement, social-emotional wellness, and love of learning. Our classrooms are places where children are seen, celebrated, and challenged. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment that feels safe, joyful, and full of possibility for every student, every day.

Our talented CES staff works closely with you and with PLN’s School Support Services to provide an integrated approach that supports the whole child. This includes rigorous instruction, meaningful relationships, and access to the resources that help children thrive inside and outside the classroom. We believe that strong partnerships with families are the foundation of a successful school year.

Strong communication and collaboration between school and home is essential to your child’s success. At PLN CES, we encourage you to stay involved and informed by joining our school’s Class Dojo, where you’ll receive important updates, weekly highlights, and celebrations of student learning. You are also invited to participate in our monthly Cafecito con la Directora gatherings, School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), our monthly Convivios, and a variety of family workshops designed to build community and support student growth.

It is an honor to be on this journey with you as your new principal. I step into this role with deep love for our school and a strong belief in the brilliance of our students and families. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your continued support. I am excited for all that lies ahead and look forward to learning and growing with you and your children this school year.

With care and commitment,

Gabriela Cárdenas
