Thanks to supporters like you, we have so much to celebrate:

• In October, we learned that Charter Elementary School students outperformed LAUSD and the entire State of CA during last year’s state testing.
• At PLN early education centers, 97% of preschoolers are meeting milestones in language and literacy development as well as cognitive development.
• This spring, the City of Los Angeles chose Para Los Niños to run one of nine new Peace and Healing Centers in the city. Each center is tasked with implementing culturally-informed programming that addresses social, economic, and environmental harms created by institutional and structural racism.
• Our partnership with Union Rescue Mission has connected us with young parents through playgroups and enabled dozens of Charter Middle School students to have the support to learn and grow despite the challenges they are facing.
• We hosted 75 Angeleno Corps members through our Youth Workforce Services Program over the past year. Each Angeleno Corps member received hands-on work experience in industries from education, health justice, and digital assistance to immigration advocacy–some of them are even working at Para Los Niños!

While this month marks the end of the program and fiscal year, it also marks the start of a new year–with more celebrations to come.
