June was a month of celebrations for students completing incredible educational milestones, and we can’t help but think about how our expanded community has made it possible. Because of you, our scholars had what they needed to focus on their learning, explore their curiosities on new field trips, and experience joy and safety at family events. 

It’s critical to ensure that our 900 students at Para Los Niños’ 7 Early Education centers, Elementary School, and Middle School have what they need to experience stability inside and outside of the classroom. That’s why, in addition to excellent education, we provide on-site school social workers, a robust expanded learning program, and concrete supports for families. This continuum of care, supported by advocates like you, provides stability for our families which results in educational success for their children.

In August, we’ll be opening our doors for our annual Family Days, where students and their families are invited to meet their teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year, sign up for afterschool programs, get connected to community resources, and receive a backpack of critically needed school supplies. There are many ways you can help keep this legacy of care going, including:

• Donating to our Back-to-School Fund
• Purchasing MUCH NEEDED Backpacks from our School Supplies Wishlist, and
• Signing up to Volunteer at Family Days on August 6th and 7th. 

As we gear up for another year, while we know it will bring its own challenges as we continue to battle to preserve funding for our community, it will also come with new triumphs and even greater heights for our scholars whose brilliance can never be dimmed.
