Every year, our Annual Benefit celebrates the milestones Para Los Niños children, youth, and families have achieved while honoring the people who have supported their transformative journeys.
While the past year has been especially challenging, Para Los Niños’ decades of building partnerships, deepening connections and expanding services has prepared us to meet this moment.
We are humbled that the trust families put in PLN has allowed us to walk alongside them through their hardest moments and highest achievements. We know when we match the powerful resilience of our families with the innovation of our team and the incredible support of this community, we are unstoppable. Together, we will move forward with radical optimism, because we must, for our future – for the children.
We hope you’ll join us this year. Guests will enjoy a magical evening at the Omni Hotel in the heart of DTLA, including inspiring stories, a silent auction, student speakers and special performances.
The past year has resulted in a tremendous expansion in partnerships across sectors to address our families’ evolving needs. During our 2026 Annual Benefit, we are recognizing partners who helped us rise to the occasion and MEET THE MOMENT.
Bet Tzedek Legal Services is a community organization providing justice, stability, and hope to those experiencing discrimination, disparities, and exploitation. Based on the central tenet of Jewish law and tradition “tzedek, tzedek, tirdof” — ”justice, justice you shall pursue,” Bet Tzedek provides legal advocacy grounded in the lived experiences of the communities they serve. Through its incredible network of attorneys and advocates, Bet Tzedek has provided free comprehensive legal services, education and training to Para Los Niños staff and families.
Thanks to Bet Tzedek’s partnership with PLN, more than 500 community members across the county received “know your rights” training, information on caregiver affidavits and public charge, as well as family self-care practices.
The Dr. Ruth Milman and Dr. Frederick Schiff Foundation is a generous funder providing relief for hundreds of family members struggling with housing instability. Recent statistics show the number of unsheltered families with children in Los Angeles County has increased by 18% this year, from 903 to 1,067. PLN’s communities are disproportionately impacted: Our Charter Middle School has seen a nearly 300% increase in unhoused students in the past three years. Nearly 40% of children in our early education program qualify as unhoused under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
In FY2024-2025, through the generous support of public and private funds, PLN has distributed more than $220,000 to families struggling with housing stability—helping get families housed and preventing them from becoming unhoused. We are proud to partner with The Dr. Ruth Milman and Dr. Frederick Schiff Foundation to ensure families have a safe and stable environment for their children to thrive.
Pensieve Foods is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh and frozen foods for retail, institutional and foodservice operations. Pensieve Foods believes that access to wholesome food is a fundamental human right and are committed to working with organizations like Para Los Ninos, to ensure that every individual in need receives the nourishment they deserve. They have built their reputation by solving some of the most complicated food-related sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution challenges across California for some of the largest non-profit organizations, retailers, and food service operators.
Pensieve Foods were there to support thousands of Para Los Niños families during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they continue to support families through food box deliveries at a time when families are experiencing significant financial strain, as disruptions to employment and income rapidly erode their ability to meet basic needs. We are proud to partner with Pensieve Foods to feed our most vulnerable Angelenos.
